due to enthusiast demand. They are ideal for
applications in which mounting depth is limited, like
pickup truck boxes and other shallow-mount designs.
These remarkable speakers are still used in several of
JL AUDIO's Enclosure and Stealthbox products.
Despite their compact depth, W1's feature long excursion
capability, legendary JL AUDIO sound quality and are
well suited for any type of enclosure design.
Available in 8" and 10" sizes.
W1's are offered in 4 ohm and 8 ohm single voice coil

The 8W1 is a flexible 8-inch subwoofer
designed with moderate efficiency, giving
the user a good compromise between small box
volume and low power requirements. It is
equally useful in sealed and ported
applications. Bandpass applications can be
difficult, due to long port lengths in small
vented chambers. Its shallow mounting depth
makes this driver a great choice for
applications where enclosure depth is
limited.
